Sunday was a great day for the Chicago Marathon – thanks to all Team RISE runners and supporters! This brings the 2014 season to a close with anticipation of 2015! Funds raised will help build a school at the village of Sibol where kids are longing for a school in which to learn.

Thanks to the Team RISE runners that participated in the Chicago Half-Marathon, and to those cheering on the sidelines! It’s a great accomplishment and will give kids in Angola the chance to go to school!

Have fun. Help kids. Join the 2014 RISE Fantasy Football League. The 2012 and 2013 RISE league gave 21 kids the chance to go to school and this year’s goal is to give 12 more kids that opportunity!

Several Team RISE runners participated in the Rock ‘n’ Roll Chicago Half-Marathon today – great job! Thank you for taking on a personal challenge, and impacting the lives of kids in Angola!

Team RISE Group runs begin this Saturday Do you run or would you like to run? You can fight injustice, help educate kids in Angola and make a tangible difference! Runners can participate in the Rock ‘n’ Roll or Chicago Half Marathon /5K, the Chicago Marathon or any race of your choice. Group training runs begin this Saturday, 6:30 am at Tower Road just east of the Edens Expressway in Winnetka. Join Team RISE and bring a friend.
