Hoji ya Henda school

There are thousands of children without a school in the Chongoroi municipality, and the local administration is working to giving all kids access to education. Hoji ya Henda is an in-town location where construction of a school was started in 2013, before funds ran out. The Administrator approached RISE, asking that we partner to complete 5 schools in the area. RISE committed to work together to finish the school.

A big dedication ceremony took place on September 7, 2019 with many joining in the celebration. The Chongoroi Mayor thanked RISE, and expressed deep gratitude for our partnership and years of friendship. Hundreds of children will now have the chance to go to school.
