RISE Bachelorette Bracket

Just as I finally begin to come to terms with my feelings over the last season of the Bachelor, another one is upon us. I’m sure we all agree that Ben’s season was an emotional roller coaster. While the double dipping on “I love you’s” undoubtedly caused tension in Ben and Lauren’s post-show relationship, I’m relieved to know they are living happily ever after at least as far as Instagram is concerned.

To add a bit more value to the hours we’ll invest over the coming weeks watching JoJo embark on her second search for a soulmate, we’re going to have another bracket supporting RISE. RISE International builds schools in Angola—a country destroyed by over 27 years of civil war. To date, RISE has funded 159 schools putting 103K+ kids into classrooms. Despite the progress, over 4 million children still have no opportunity for an education. It costs $300 to put a kid in school. When you divide that by the 25-30 years that there will be children in those classrooms, it breaks down to about $12 per student per year. Last season, we raised $525 which is awesome. Let’s see what we can do this time around!
