| In partnership with Maersk Oil Angola, a comprehensive project "Restore Hope" at the village of Lucunga, was dedicated on April 30th. It includes a new six classroom primary school, a well providing clean water and a community garden as a sustainable source of food for the students. Imagine the delight of the teachers, and the children that now school under trees across the road with a chalkboard propped against the trunk! | ![]() |

Team RISE 2012 raised funds to send over 1000 kids to school. Funds were wired in November and in February 2013, the school at Ungongo was dedicated. Construction is underway for the school at Tangua! |

A beautiful, new school at Chimbassi funded by BP Oil and partners, was dedicated in February 2013. The villagers shared that "there was nothing - we were desolate and desperate, and within a few short months, we have a beautiful new school and well. We never would have dreamed how our lives would change! We are happy and grateful - thank you!" |

| New schools have been finished and dedicated at Caimbambo, Limbata and Lumela in the Benguela Province, providing classrooms for 1700 children. Another, Kuquema, is in the Bie Province. These schools have been built in partnership with BP Angola as part of their Sustainable Development and Community Investment Program. | ![]() |
