From 2005 - 2011, RISE provided educational support through workshops conducted by teams who traveled with RISE to Angola on a Pilgrimage of Service. AIDS education and prevention is also taught through the It Takes Courage! curriculum. Leaders and teachers are able to take what they learn back to their classrooms and villages to teach life skills to students and communities.
